The Walsh Bay Redevelopment located on Sydney Harbour is one of the most significant urban renewal projects in Australia.
Walsh Bay comprises houses, apartments and commercial spaces. The waterfront is now open to the public, with a number of restaurants and cafes, plazas, parks and boardwalks.
The precinct has also become a focus for the arts, with a new state-of-the-art 857 seat drama theatre.
It demonstrates the positive results which can be achieved through the successful integration of retained and restored built heritage, high quality urban and architectural design and innovative construction techniques.
