Bunker Bay is three hours south of Perth, on the west coast of Australia overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The Quay West Resort includes 150 individual villas and communal facilities: restaurant, bar, swimming pool, gymnasium and library.

With such an environmentally sensitive site the aim was to enhance rather than control the area. The villas are single-storey and terrace down the site providing some with ocean views, others with garden views.

The main building at the resort incorporates an eclectic mix of contemporary modern design and unique locally crafted elements and artworks, which blend together to create a homogenous environment expressing the sense of place.
